The Famous RPI Ken

Fellow College Republicans,

As many of you know Ken Girardin and I have not always seen eye to eye on an array of different topics (until recently we were running against each other for NYCRSC Chairman.) However, I have learned that politics is not always agreeing with each other on the specifics as long as you have a similar vision. Ken has something that I think the College Republicans for the past few years has lacked: ENERGY! No one can argue that Ken has energy. He has something more than just the energy that the NYCRSC has lost over the years. Ken has original ideas, he has a new approach to business as usual, and he has no problem telling you if you are not doing your job (and we need to tell Hillary she has not been doing her job for New Yorkers.) You might not always agree with him, but it is clear he has the energy to partner with me in transforming this organization.

However, I have spoke with Ken at great lengths about past issues and our vision for the future of the New York College Republicans. We have similar grievances regarding the current state of our organization, we have similar visions of what direction our organization needs to move in, and we have agreed to unite together to move our organization to where it needs to be. Of all the divisions in the College Republicans, the one between Ken and I have at times been ranked near "nuclear."

We are prepared and devoted to put our differences aside for the betterment of the College Republicans. In my announcement letter I vowed as Chairwoman to unite the College Republicans of New York and end the division and internal fighting that we have seen for years. This is a great leap in the direction of unifying the College Republicans in our state. As I recently stated, "Once elected Chairwoman, I vow that my administration will lead through example! I said that I would unite the College Republicans, and as candidate for Chairwoman I am going to "lead by example." I encourage all College Republicans to forget our internal differences and focus on Victory in November. We have a lot of work to do before November, but this is just another step in that direction.
