TO WIT – WOKE UP THIS MORNING
…A reader in New York wrote of the New York CR state chairman’s race saying, “New York is sick of a gentlemen’s club running the NYCRSC. If the College Republicans are going to have any effect on helping defeat Hillary Clinton, we could really benefit from an outgoing well connect female Chair.”
It just so happens there is a woman, Erin McTiernan, running for NY CR state chair (coincidence, I think not).
There are two other candidates running for the office, Ken Girardin and Rob Weitzman. The running conspiracy of the day is that Weitzman, who’s supported by sitting state chairman Mike Backus, is quietly being supported by Paul Gourley. (Also known as the “kiss of death” in New York.)
