McTiernan organizes Welcome Rally for the President
Fellow College Republicans,
A year ago President George W. Bush held a Town Hall Meeting in Rochester, New York and the New York College Republicans did absolutely nothing. There was no notification that the President was in town by NYCRSC leadership to the college chapters, there was no rally held by the College Republicans welcoming the President to our state, and the New York College Republican State Committee remained dormant (as they have for the past 3 years)! As a result a lot of tension and animosity was created throughout the state within the College Republicans. To this day people still have hard feelings for the lack of leadership that took place that day.
I have good news! We still have time to change that outcome. President Bush will be in Rochester, once again conducting a town hall meeting, on Tuesday, March 14th. I think it is time to give the President the welcome he deserves! I am in the process of organizing a massive College Republican rally outside of the event to welcome the President to New York.
The White House has not yet released the exact details of the process to get inside the event (I will notify you of the process as soon as they release it.) However in the mean time, we must organize a "Welcome Rally" for the President's motorcade. Email me if you or your club is interested at Erin@NewYorksFuture.com.
It is time for the New York College Republicans to become active again. I'm working to rebuild the bridges that have been destroyed over the last few years. Now its time to show New York that the College Republicans are back!
