Frank Guidice Endorses McTiernan, Announces Bid For Senior Vice Chairman

Fellow College Republicans,

My passion for College Republican activism is stronger than ever. For three years I have witnessed first hand the difference we can make in New York when College Republicans come together to spread the Republican message. Therefore, I wish to continue this enthusiasm as I announce my bid for Sr. Vice Chairman this year. I believe the experiences and contacts I have made throughout New York State, have led me to become a strong leader within the NYCRSC.
Our Treasurer, Erin McTiernan, also shares the same beliefs, dedication, and passion as I do and therefore, I formally endorse Erin McTiernan for NYCRSC Chair. In the past two weeks Erin has demonstrated that she has the activist nature that is required to set an example for College Republicans to be successful in spreading their message. Her campaign work in the Special Election in the 139th District helped lead the election of Assemblyman Steven Hawley. Erin also organized a rally of two dozen College Republicans from five schools to welcome President George W. Bush to New York State. This style of leading by example has proven to be the successful method that will be utilized during the 2006 election cycle. I am proud to stand by Erin McTiernan as she assumes the top leadership position of New York State.
I ask that you support this unique approach to leadership. Something I believe will take the New York College Republicans to new heights. We are College Republicans for two reasons. We believe and wish to spread the Republican message and we help elect leaders that will achieve that goal. November will define the direction of politics in New York. We will stand up for our cause, and make a difference each step of the way.
I wish everyone a successful end to their Spring semesters, and look forward to seeing you on Long Island in April!
Frank Guidice
Candidate for Sr. Vice Chairman

McTiernan Announces she will take over all Fundraising for the Convention

Another example of the failure of the New York College Republicans over the past few years becomes apparent today...

This weekend McTiernan attended a "convention update meeting" at Hofstra University (located on Long Island.) She learned that exactly one month out from the New York College Republican Convention, there has ONLY been $1,000 raised for a convention that is to be held less than a month away.

Today, McTiernan offered the convention organizer, Bradley Smallberg, that she would be willing to take over all fundraising efforts to ensure a successful convention. She is working jointly with Hofstra University College Republican Kathleeen Hunker to help raise the needed money.
If anyone would like to contribute please contact Erin McTiernan at (516) 640-0949 or make checks payable to New York College Republican State Committee or NYCRSC. Mail checks to:

GOURLEY SHOCKS FORMER NEW YORK SUPPORTERS

It has come to the attention of the McTiernan for New York campaign that CRNC was involved in helping opponent's campaign. It has been reported by numerous, very reliable sources that Chairman Paul Gourley was actively supporting Robert Weitzman for NYCRSC Chairman. Sources say that they first talked about Gourley's support of Weitzman at CPAC this year; they held a meeting where discussions were held on how the CRNC could help promote the opponent's campaign. Most recently, it has been reported that last Monday, March 13th Chairman Gourley was supposed to sign into a contract to provide buses for transportation to the NYCR Convention to be held in Long Island. The sources were confirmed through numerous chapter chairs within the Central Region of New York State...
