JOHN MCGRATH ANNOUNCES CANDIDACY FOR WESTERN VICE-CHAIRMAN
McTiernan and Aikin Welcome McGrath to Ticket
Olean, NY —John McGrath, current Deputy Western Vice Chairman, has announced that he will seek the position of Western Vice Chairman at the New York College Republican State Committee's annual convention. McGrath is a sophomore at Saint Bonaventure University and has been involved with the New York College Republicans since his first day at college. " I have been involved in the College Republicans since the first week of my freshman year at St. Bonaventure University," stated McGrath is a recent release to the Western Region.
"John has the type of fun loving personality that makes him an instant leader. His daily work ethic and devotion to everything that he commits himself to makes him a successful leader. These qualities combined with his passion for the ideals of the Republican party makes him the right guy to lead the Western Region to even higher successes," stated Erin McTiernan, NYCRSC Chair.
"After working with John for the past few months, I know he is the right candidate for Western Vice-Chairman," state Daniel Aikin, candidate for Co-Chairman and current Western Vice Chairman. "John and I share the same vision for the Western Region; its brightest future has yet to come. He is a hardworking individual that will serve the Western Region with prestige and professionalism. John is the leader our organization deserves."

"This past weekend at CPAC, Dan Aikin announced his candidacy for Co-Chairman of the NYCRSC. I would like to wish him luck in the election and announce my candidacy for his position of Western Regional Vice Chairman. I currently serve as your Deputy Vice Chair and credentialed most of your chapters. The West now has more credentialed chapters then any other region in New York and it does need strong leadership."
"I have been involved in the College Republicans since the first week of my freshman year at St. Bonaventure University. I now serve as the club's Vice Chair and have hosted events including a Kuhl for Congress rally, an assemblyman rally, a voter registration drive, and a State of the Union party."
"The region needs to work together in order to attain common goals, which are to elect Republicans to office and promote campus activism. As Western Regional Vice Chair, I would be committed to working together as a region and a state to attain these goals. The greatest way to achieve this is a strong communication structure. Please see my attached plan for the western region."
